About the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG):
Search and Rescue, and Boating Safety are probably two of the
most familiar services from the Canadian Coast Guard, but Environmental
Response, Icebreaking, Marine Navigation Services, Marine Communications
and Traffic Services, and Navigable Waters Protection are other
programs and services offered by the CCG. The CCG supports the
objectives of protecting the marine and freshwater environments,
maintaining maritime safety, and facilitating maritime commerce
and ocean development.

Marine Weather
"You can't have too much information when it comes
to predicting the weather. Accurate reporting requires speed-fast
collection from many sources and fast reporting to the people
who need to know." This is the premise that this link works
upon. The need for reliable and fast weather reporting is important
to all.
